Tifton-Tift County Inert Landfill

Due to the recent storm damage, the Tifton-Tift County Inert Landfill will be accepting wood waste and yard debris at no cost to residents with a valid Tifton or Tift County ID desiring to haul materials to the Inert Landfill. This is only for Tifton and Tift County residents, not for commercial companies, including landscaping and tree surgeons. This service will be available thru the close of business on Friday, October 6th. Collection efforts by the City of Tifton and Golden Waste for yard debris is underway.
Please note that these materials cannot be accepted at the Tifton-Tifton County Landfill - Mitchell Store Road Location due to state regulations.

The Landfill Division provides for the disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW) in a state-of-the-art facility complying with all local, state, and federal regulations for all of Tift County. Also, concrete, asphalt, and similar materials are processed into crusher run to be used by the City and the County Road Maintenance Divisions.
