Fire
The Tifton-Tift County Fire Department provides a high level of quality fire protection to the citizens of Tifton & Tift County, Georgia. The jurisdiction we serve covers nearly a 270
square-mile area that is located in South Central Georgia, just off of Interstate 75. Serving a population of 38,407, our organization delivers a full range of fire protection including fire prevention and education, fire suppression, dive rescue and recovery, and hazardous
materials response.
We are committed to providing our citizens with the best fire protection service possible. This is accomplished in part by maintaining a staff of highly trained personnel. Currently, we have three fire stations fully staffed with seven volunteer fire stations throughout the county.
