The City holds elections in odd calendar years. The next regular City election will be held in 2007. At that election, registered voters will elect a Mayor, District 2 Councilman and a District 4 Councilman.

Residents may register to vote in City elections at the Tift County Elections Office at 4th and Chesnutt. Residents may also register on the Internet at the Secretary of State's Office - www.sos.state.ga.us
