Meals & Programs

Nutrition Program

About the Program

A nutritious, hot lunch is served at the Senior Center every weekday as part of our Senior Meals Program. Menus differ from day-to-day. All meals are pre-planned by a registered dietician, which helps create a variety of well-rounded meals. Contracted through the Area Agency on Aging (AAA), our meals are prepared and sent in from our Homerville Kitchen. Our kitchen staff then works to get those meals out to our Congregate and well as HDM participants.

Reserve a Meal

Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are suggested to ensure a meal is available as it is hard to plan for multiple walk-ins. A donation is suggested for walk-ins but is not mandatory. The program is available to those 55 and older. To reserve a meal or to inquire about entry into the program, call (229) 391-3956.

Line Dances

Line dancing occurs each Wednesday. The cost is $3 per class or $12 a month.
