Tifton Police Department Announces Regional Training Event on Human Trafficking
All area law enforcement personnel, medical and hospitality personnel, and others interested are urged to attend the Human Trafficking Training Event scheduled for March 3 and 4, 2020 at the Leroy Rogers Senior Center.
Human Trafficking is on a rise in Georgia and professionals in the hospitality and medical industry play an important role in helping law enforcement agencies identify possible victims. The training event will help attendees effectively recognize and report Human Trafficking and the event is free to attend.
Law Enforcement & Public Safety Personnel Training will be held on March 3rd (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Medical Personnel Training will be held on March 4th (9:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
Hospitality/Hotel Personnel Training will be held on March 4th (1:30 PM – 3:30 PM)
The training event is made possible by the Georgia Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force, the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, PAC, GPSTC, Tift County Sheriff’s Office, and Tifton Police Department
