Hip! Hop! Hooray! Easter Eggstravaganza in Downtown Tifton Thursday
TIFTON, Ga. – Downtown Tifton hosts their Easter Eggstravaganza Thursday, April 17 from 5:00 to 6:00pm.
This free community event will allow children and their families to walk the sidewalks of Downtown Tifton to receive free candy and Easter eggs from participating merchants.
The Eggstravaganza is a sister event to Downtown Tifton’s Trick-or-Treat event, as participating merchants and local organizations will be set up along the “hopping” route to distribute candy and Easter eggs.
The hopping route will begin at 1st and Main St and end at the Tifton-Tift County Library on Love Ave. 3rd Street (Main St to Commerce Way) will also be part of the route for the Eggstravaganza. First Responders will be located at each intersection assisting with traffic and pedestrians.
Citizens should expect road closures on 3rd St West (Main St to Commerce Way) and 1st Street Extension.
