TIFTON, Ga. – Downtown Tifton is making their list, and checking it twice, for the most magical holiday season yet.
Tifton’s Hometown Holidays Celebration will carry the sweet theme of “Candy Land” in 2025. Saturday, December 6th at 5pm begins the beloved Hometown Holidays Parade in Tifton, with the Downtown Holiday Celebration continuing at 6:30pm that same evening.
Floats in the parade will incorporate the theme of Candy Land and showcase Tifton’s community in the sweetest ways.
Santa Claus will make an appearance during the Tree Lighting Ceremony at City Hall that immediately follows the parade. Families will also have the chance to take pictures with Santa, sip hot chocolate, ice skate, shop with locally-owned vendors, experience all of the holiday magic, and more during the downtown festivities that follow the parade on December 6th. These events are free and open to all to attend.
Parade Float Sign-Up
Early-bird sign up for Hometown Holidays Parade participation will run October 6th through November 2nd, 2025. Regular sign-up will open November 3rd and run to the day before the parade. Day-of parade sign-up will also be available again this year. Please note, vendor registration will open on October 6th as well.
